Something great happened to me this week. I got my new pair of glasses just three days after I lost my old ones on Friday (Apr.27). My frame broke into two pieces the day I was scheduled to sing the U.S. and CNMI National Anthems; and also the second day of the Annual Flame Tree Arts Festival event. I made it through all the events without a perfect vision. Thanks to my wonderful family who insisted on driving for me especially at night.
I have been taking pictures with friends and was hoping that my eyes would not cross as they usually would hours without my glasses. I do not know why this happens, but it got me to go check in at the eye clinic right away. Thanks to the gang at the Hardt Eye Clinic for squeezing me in at the last minute to get my eyes examined last Monday (Apr.30). Within hours, I had my new pair of glasses. Whew!

I need to get me a new pair too. My lenses are all scratched up and the right one sometimes pops out. Luckily it has only happened when I'm amongst family. I'd be talking to someone and *pop* goes the lens lol.
LOL!!!! THAT HAPPENED TO ME A LOT. Felt like one of my eyes fell out of my head.
LOL! Yeah, me 3!
Talk about embarrassing when you're talking and out pops the eyeglass and, Gus is right -- you feel like you have to scurry to grab your eyeball as it's falling to the ground! Eeewww...not a very pretty picture, abo?
Bah totally jinxed myself with that comment. Took a nap on my glasses after posting and now I have a wire holding it together boohoo! =(
Now SpiderMan can see much better!
